Minnesota Vikings Stadium: Dayton Says Bill Has "50-50 Chance" Of Passing

The bill for a new Minnesota Vikings' stadium is set to be filed today, and if you're hoping for unbridled enthusiasm from the guy that is in charge of running the state of Minnesota. . .well, you're in for some disappointment.

"I'd say it's 50-50. You know, it's there to be gained, and it's there to be lost," Dayton said on WCCO-TV. "I think the various opponents are a lot more outspoken and engaged at the Legislature right now than the people who would be advocates for it."

Way to fire up the troops there, Governor.

So, apparently the way to get this done is to get engaged, and there are ways of going about that. The folks over at Save The Vikes have been kind enough to put together this handy little form for you to send in your support to your representative, or directly to the Governor if you're from out of state.

It appears that the rubber is finally going to be meeting the road here, ladies and gentlemen. Here's hoping that this whole thing can get done and finally give us. . .not to mention Minnesota sports in general. . .some positive news rather than the negativity we've gotten used to over the course of the next couple of years.
