Minnesota Vikings Re-Sign WR Devin Aromashodu

The Minnesota Vikings kept another one of their own in the fold today, agreeing to terms with wide receiver Devin Aromashodu on a one-year contract. Terms of the deal were not immediately available. . .but I'm guessing it wasn't terribly expensive.

According to the story from 1500 ESPN's Tom Pelissero, Aromashodu played the most snaps of any wide receiver on the team last season. . .and if those figures include Percy Harvin, then that's really, really sad. . .and caught 26 passes for 468 yards and a touchdown.

I don't think Aromashodu is going to fight his way a whole lot higher up the depth chart. . .even though it seems like he's fairly young, he's 27 years old, and the Vikings are his seventh NFL team, after he spent time in some form or another with the Miami Dolphins, Indianapolis Colts, Houston Texans, the Colts (again), the Washington Redskins, and the Chicago Bears before he came to Minnesota last season.

Most importantly, my patience in taking the time to learn to spell Aromashodu correctly has been rewarded. And, really, that's what matters here.
