2012 SB Nation NFL Mock Draft Approaches Halfway Point

If you've been keeping track of it thus far. . .or even if you haven't. . .the 2012 SB Nation NFL Mock Draft has nearly reached the halfway point in its fifth day of progress. The first fifteen picks have gone off of the board, and there have been a couple of surprises thus far.

Here's how things have progressed through the first half of Round 1:

Indianapolis Colts - Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford
Washington Redskins - Robert Griffin III, QB, Baylor
Minnesota Vikings - Matt Kalil, OT, USC
Cleveland Browns - Justin Blackmon, WR, Oklahoma State
Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Morris Claiborne, CB, LSU
St. Louis Rams - Trent Richardson, RB, Alabama
Jacksonville Jaguars - Quinton Coples, DE, North Carolina
Miami Dolphins - Ryan Tannehill, QB, Texas A&M
Carolina Panthers - Fletcher Cox, DT, Mississippi State
Buffalo Bills - Mike Adams, OT, Ohio State
Kansas City Chiefs - Riley Reiff, OT, Iowa
Seattle Seahawks - Courtney Upshaw, LB, Alabama
Arizona Cardinals - Jonathan Martin, OT, Stanford
Dallas Cowboys - David DeCastro, G, Stanford
Philadelphia Eagles - Luke Kuechly, LB, Boston College

For the record, our selection of Matt Kalil has an 85% "A" rating from the gallery at Mocking the Draft, which is nice. Not sure why there are people giving the selection an "F," but I suppose there are some in every crowd.

I was surprised to see Mike Adams go before Reiff or Martin as far as the offensive tackles go. . .also surprised to see the Panthers go with Fletcher Cox at defensive tackle instead of the rapidly rising Dontari Poe. But, the guys that make those selections for their teams know their clubs better than I do.

Our second-round pick is rapidly approaching. . .we have to have the picks in a few days ahead of when they actually go up at MtD. . .I think we may need to get everybody involved in that one, but we'll have more on that later on.
