Minnesota Vikings Select Central Florida CB Josh Robinson

With the 66th overall selection in the 2012 National Football League Draft, the Minnesota Vikings selected cornerback Josh Robinson out of the University of Central Florida.

Robinson tested very well at the 2012 NFL Combine, including having the fastest 40-yard dash time at 4.33 seconds. He was a good punt returner in college for the Golden Knights, and that might be where he starts out at for the Vikings this season, but he has the skills to develop into a pretty good cornerback. The book on him is that he doesn't provide a whole lot in run support at this point, but hopefully getting a chance to hang out with Antoine Winfield for a while will give him an opportunity to change his attitude on that front.

As it stands now, the Vikings are done for the evening. But the team has nine picks on the docket for Saturday, so things could get a little bit crazy. We'll have all of the coverage for you here, and I'm sure that Ted and Eric will have more on Josh Robinson here shortly.
