We've mentioned Jared Allen's "Night Ops" golf tournament here previously, and the third annual installment of the event actually took place about a month ago (much earlier than the event has generally taken place). The event goes to benefit Allen's Homes For Wounded Warriors Foundation, which is a great cause. . .as long as the state of Minnesota doesn't take a huge dump on your charitable efforts just as you're getting ready to cross the finish line.
You know. . .hypothetically speaking.
But the folks from the NOC have given us some highlights of the event, featuring Allen along with Johnny Knoxville and Wee Man of Jackass fame.
I'm going to make every effort to make it to next year's event. . .it looks like a hell of a lot of fun, it's a great cause, and, hey, military personnel get a discount on the greens fees, which is nice.
I am a bit disturbed by Jared Allen's revelation that Heart's All I Wanna To Do Is Make Love To You is the "greatest song of all time," but I'm not sure I want to get into an argument with the guy, to be honest with you.
