Normally I wouldn't get this excited about a product from the National Football League, but this is one thing that I'm pretty sure I can live with myself for making an exception for.
The NFL has announced that, as part of their "Game Rewind" package, they are going to offer "Coaches Film," which will allow anyone that has the desire to do so to look at any play from any game. "Coaches Film" is also known as "All-22 Film" because it offers a bird's eye view of all 22 players on the field at the same time, meaning that we can finally get a decent look at what defensive backs are doing (or not doing) on a play-by-play basis.
This is, as they say, a huge freakin' deal.
There are various package involved with the whole Game Rewind thing, with the $60 package being the one that allows you to go through any game you'd like. I, for one, am excited to see this, and hopefully we can find a decent way to implement it into the way we talk about games and stuff this season.
