We don't do a lot of non-football videos here, but when something cool happens. . .particularly to one of our local teams. . .it makes sense to highlight it. So, here we go.
As a sports fan, I've been watching baseball for a long time, maybe even longer than I've been watching football. And I've seen many a curveball thrown in my day. Yesterday, however, was the first time I ever remember seeing somebody hit one.
Ladies and gentlemen, Minnesota Twins' shortstop Brian Dozier.
Seriously, in almost three decades of watching baseball, I have never seen anything like that happen before.
The Twins, much like the Vikings, have fallen on rough times over the past couple of seasons. As it stands now, the Twins have the worst record in the American League, much to the chagrin of our good friends over at Twinkie Town. But, as I said, when something unusual happens, it deserves to be highlighted.
Hopefully things will turn around for both of these teams in the near future.
