One more post before I call it a night, and this is the best thing I've read all day.

Jim Kleinsasser, retired tight end of the Minnesota Vikings, People's Champion, and erstwhile folk hero for legions of Vikings fans everywhere, is going to the Hall of Fame.

No, not the NFL Hall of Fame. You have to be retired for five years to do that.

The Sauce will be inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame of his alma mater, the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux...I mean the UND Nickname To Be Determined At A Later Date Once All The Lawsuits Have Been Settled.

If it was up to me, I'd name it the Jim Kleinsasser Hall Of Fame Which Happens To Be On The University Of North Dakota Campus, but that's just me.

In all seriousness, this is a great honor for Kleinsasser, and it's well deserved. He was a second round draft pick out of UND in 1999, spent all 13 years of his NFL career in Minnesota, played more games at tight end than any player in Vikes history, and was the highest drafted player ever out of UND.

Congrats, Jim. Hope you're kicking it in retired life. And behold, the birth of 'Flyinsasser':

Good night, kids.
