We interrupt this evening's coverage of NFL players headbutting their wives to bring you the following bit of positivity.
As we talked about earlier today, Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson will be activated from the active/Physically Unable to Perform list tomorrow, with Peterson likely taking to the practice field with his teammates for the first time on Tuesday.
Sources: Vikings plan to take RB A. Peterson off the active/pup list as early as Sun. Targeting Tues. for FULL participation at this time.

If this comes to fruition. . .and, at this point, there's no reason to think that it won't. . .Peterson would be back competing in organized football activities 235 days after tearing his ACL and his meniscus. He would then likely see limited action in the Vikings' third pre-season game against the San Diego Chargers. If that goes well, he would then be on pace to start for the Vikings against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1, just like he swore he'd do all along.
Forget steroids. . .somebody better start checking Adrian Peterson for 10W-30. The man's not human.
