NFL Network To Re-Broadcast All Vikings Pre-Season Games

New, comments

As they've done every year for quite a while now, the folks at the NFL Network will do re-broadcasts of nearly all of the NFL's pre-season games. The Minnesota Vikings are no exception, as their four pre-season contests will all be aired on the NFL Network, in most cases within a day of the actual game taking place. There is a bit of a bigger gap between the Vikings' final pre-season game will be played and when the NFL Network will show it.

Here is the full schedule of when the NFL Network will be re-broadcasting the Vikings' pre-season action.

Pre-Season Week 1 - Minnesota Vikings at San Francisco 49ers

Actual Game Date and Time - Friday, 10 August, 8 PM Central Time
Initial NFL Network Re-Broadcast - Saturday, 11 August, 1 AM Central Time (Yes, 1 AM. Set your DVRs.)

Pre-Season Week 2 - Buffalo Bills at Minnesota Vikings

Actual Game Date and Time - Friday, 17 August, 7 PM Central Time
Initial NFL Network Re-Broadcast - Saturday, 18 August, 11 AM Central Time

Pre-Season Week 3 - San Diego Chargers at Minnesota Vikings

Actual Game Date and Time - Friday, 24 August, 7 PM Central Time
Initial NFL Network Re-Broadcast - Saturday, 25 August, 2 AM Central Time (Yes, 2 AM. Set your DVRs.)

Pre-Season Week 4 - Minnesota Vikings at Houston Texans

Actual Game Date and Time - Thursday, 30 August, 6 PM Central Time
Initial NFL Network Re-Broadcast - Sunday, 2 September, 9 AM Central Time

Keep in mind, these won't be the only times that the NFL Network will be re-broadcasting these games. . .these times are just the initial re-broadcasts. You'll have to check the rest of the NFL Network schedule to see the other times that the games will be rebroadcast.

As far as the local airing of pre-season games, Friday's pre-season opener will be aired on WUCW in the Twin Cities, while the other three games will be handled by KARE-11. The broadcast team will be the Vikings' radio team of Paul Allen and Pete Bercich, simulcast with their radio broadcast that you can hear at KFAN-FM 100.3.

Thanks to the folks at Fang's Bites for putting up the pre-season re-broadcast schedule.
