This was intially posted in the FanShots by Dirichlet, but it deserves its own posting.
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson was supposed to have his court hearing today about the charges of resisting arrest. . .and, still, nothing else. . .that were brought against him last month in Houston, Texas. The original hearing was supposed to take place on July 13, and was then pushed back to today.
According to Peterson's attorney, Rusty Hardin, the hearings. . .yes, plural, for some reason. . .are now scheduled to be held on September 27 and November 15. Both of those are Thursdays, and the second one falls during the Vikings' bye week. The September 27th date is prior to the Vikings' Week 4 matchup against the Lions in Detroit.
Eventually, there's going to have to be some sort of hearing. . .really don't think this sort of thing can continue to get pushed back indefinitely. But it won't happen today like it was originally scheduled to.
