It's Monday Night Football time, and if you want to subject yourself to what ESPN likes to refer to as "football coverage," there's a pretty decent match-up on tap for this evening.
The Denver Broncos, led by Peyton Manning, head into the Georgia Dome to take on the Atlanta Falcons. Both of these teams won in pretty convincing fashion in Week 1, and there should be plenty of points scored this evening.
After this game, one of these two teams will be one of six teams in the National Football League at 2-0. One of them will drop to 1-1, joining 19 other teams with that record. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, that's the most teams to start a season at 1-1 two weeks into the NFL season in league history. In fact, of the 16 NFC teams, there's only one that is guaranteed not to have a win after the first two weeks of the season. I won't tell you which one it is, but if you look at the standings*, you can figure it out.
But, if you're going to be watching tonight's game, you can discuss it here with your fellow Minnesota Vikings fans. Enjoy!
