Marvin Mitchell will start for Henderson. Jasper Brinkley will stay on in nickel. Audie Cole will be active too. #Vikings

Thankfully, concussions are taken a lot more seriously than they used to be, and he's out because of concussion-like symptoms that manifested this week.
Notice I didn't say after the game on Sunday, because Henderson didn't start feeling anything until Wednesday. he has been held out of practice the last threedays, and the Vikings determined a short while ago that he will not suit up Sunday. Kinda scary, that. Better safe than sorry, but what does this mean for the defense?
Well, it means that Marvin Mitchell (not the baseball labor negotiator Marvin Mitchell) will now start in Henderson's place on the outside, and instead of Chad Greenway and Henderson on the field when the Vikings go to the nickel package, MLB Jasper Brinkley will now stay on the field in Henderson's place, and it will be him and Greenway running futiely after Vernon Davis attemptiing to stop the short and medium stuff over the middle.
It also means that Audie 'Murphy' Cole will now be active, and that is enough to warm my heart for weeks.
Audie Cole active. Years from now, when you're sitting your grandson on your knee and he asks you "Grandpa, where were you when you heard Audie Cole was going to be activated for the first time?", you can look him in the eye and say:
"I was wasting time at work on Daily Norseman," and a small tear will run down your cheek.
You're welcome for the touching moment to come years from now.
