And Now, Your Moment Of Zen

Because you really didn't think we were going to let this week go by without showing this, did you?

It wasn't that long ago where the Minnesota Vikings and San Francisco 49ers got together in Week 3 of an NFL season. In fact, it was just three seasons ago. Both teams came into the match-up at the Metrodome at 2-0 and with playoff aspirations. It was the home opener for the Vikings after starting the season with games at Cleveland and at Detroit, and Minnesota fans were anxious to get a glimpse of Brett Favre at quarterback on his new home field.

Trailing by a score of 24-20, the Vikings started their final drive of the game on their own 20-yard line with 1:29 left on the clock and no time outs in their pocket.

You know what happened from there.

Sit down and watch it anyway.

And, yes, for those of you that want to hear Paul Allen go crazy, here you go.

Truth be told, I'm not sure how many "happy" moments to expect tomorrow. . .the Niners might be the best team in the NFL right now, having dispatched two other NFC North opponents in fairly convincing fashion. But, rest assured, we're all going to be here watching it anyway, like we are every other week.

But, just for a moment, it's nice to have that warm, fuzzy feeling back again, isn't it?
