The Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions will kick things off in Week Four of the 2012 NFL season at Ford Field this afternoon. We're still a few hours away from kickoff, but we're here to give you all of the relevant information that you'll need to follow all of the action as the Vikings attempt to move to 3-1 and win their first game within the NFC North since early 2010.
Game Time/Location: Kickoff is set for 12:00 PM Central time from Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan
Television Broadcast: The game will be handled by Fox, with Thom Brenneman and Brian Billick handling the call. If you're unsure whether or not the game will be broadcast in your neck of the woods, you can find the map from the good folks at The 506 by clicking here.
If you're using DirecTV's Sunday Ticket package, the game will be shown on Channel 705.
Radio Broadcast: KFAN-FM 100.3 is the flagship station for the Minnesota Vikings Radio Network. If you're not in the immediate Twin Cities area, use this link to find the Vikings Radio Network affiliate in your area. If you're listening on Sirius Satellite Radio, you can find the Vikings' feed on Channel 106 (and the Lions feed on Channel 93). If you have an XM Satellite Radio, you can find the game on Channel 226, but you're stuck with the Lions feed, as the XM side only has the home team feeds.
Weather: Ford Field is a dome. Weather. . .not really a factor.
In a little while, we'll be explaining how the Game Threads will work now with the new experience of SB Nation United. You'll still have the Game Thread experience you've come to know and love from The Daily Norseman and every other SB Nation site, but everything is going to be centrally located to make things easier to find. Hopefully you'll be here enjoying the game with us!
