Jump In To The Ultimate Sports Social Media Job Contest!

Last year, the folks from XFinity Sports gave the readers of SB Nation a chance to get the Ultimate Sports Social Media Job for one year. Well, it's that time of year again. XFinity Sports is looking for the next person that will be lucky enough to hold this position.

Here are all the particulars about the contest from the folks at XFinity Sports.

XFINITY is looking for the next voice of Xfinity sports. The Ultimate Sports Social Media Job presented by XFINITY, provides fans the opportunity to become the next sports social media star. The winner will share behind-the-scenes stories and news with more than 15,000 followers, from the biggest sporting events over the next year.

Applicants are asked to create a short video and statement detailing why they should be the next person to take over the @XFINITYSports handle. Eight Semi-finalists will be catapulted to the next round based on their outstanding submissions, but the final two Semi-finalist spots will be awarded to two of ten Wild Card contestants. Fans will have the opportunity to vote for one of the ten Wild Cards, to send to the next round. Once selected, the skills of the 10 Semi-finalists will be put to the test in a full scale social media evaluation at XFINITY Live! in Philadelphia. The top scoring five contestants will then receive the opportunity to visit an XFINITY partner team to act as a reporter and share their experience with their fans. Ultimately from the five Finalists, the new voice of XFINTIY Sports will be selected.
