We've made it to Thursday, everybody, and another day closer to Minnesota Vikings football. There's going to be a game on this evening for your viewing pleasure, and hopefully that can tide us over until the main event on Sunday.
Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .
-We asked you which member of this weekend's opponent, the Carolina Panthers, you'd like to see come to Minnesota if the opportunity presented itself.
-The Vikings extended the contract of defensive end Brian Robison for four more seasons.
-The Vikings are among the most trusted teams in the NFL by player agents, according to the National Football Post.
From some other outposts around the internet. . .
-Cornerback Josh Robinson will remain in the Vikings' lineup, despite his struggles.
-The team's plans concerning their defensive line are becoming clearer.
-The Vikings have signed defensive end Justin Trattou, releasing defensive end George Johnson.
-And it appears that McLeod Bethel-Thompson won't be coming back after all, as the San Francisco 49ers claimed him after his release from Minnesota.
The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've always been, folks. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, and keep the bad language to a minimum/use the spoiler tags if you feel as though you absolutely must curse.
We keep the Monty Python roll going with today's ambient music selection.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Thursday, everybody! We'll have more throughout the course of the day, including Eric's picks for this weekend's games, coming up here shortly.
