Minnesota Vikings News And Links, 10/11

My apologies for the delay in the thread here, folks. . .been trying to get updates on the story involving Adrian Peterson that has been evolving over the past few hours. So, this is going to be short.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-Ted has turned the Vikings' quarterback situation into a Choose Your Own Adventure book.

-Christian Ponder has been cleared to play this weekend against Carolina, but the odds are pretty good that Matt Cassel will still start.

-Mark has his latest look at this weekend's college football action and which players you should be watching.

-Arif and company have another episode of Norse Code for you to listen to, featuring a heavy dose of Josh Freeman.

-Eric has his picks for Week 6 of NFL action up for your reading pleasure.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, and keep the bad language to a minimum/use the spoiler tags if you feel you absolutely must curse.

No music for today. . .doesn't seem appropriate to throw a Monty Python tune out there given the circumstances of what might be happening this morning.

This is your Open Thread for Friday, ladies and gentlemen. Keep your eyes open for more as the day progresses.
