Minnesota Vikings News And Links, 10/15

Bruce Kluckhohn-USA TODAY Sports

We apologize for it being a bit of a slow news day yesterday, ladies and gentlemen. Simple case of everyone being busy at the same time, plus not a whole lot in the way of excitement in the wake of Sunday's drubbing. We hope to have more for you today.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-There was some news yesterday, and it was bad. . .the Vikings lost linebacker Desmond Bishop for the season just 16 snaps into his first start of the year.

-Leslie Frazier said on Monday that he will decide who will quarterback the Vikings next week by Wednesday.

From some other outposts across the internet. . .

-Ben Goessling of ESPN has a breakdown of the play that led to a 79-yard touchdown for Carolina on Sunday.

-The team's rookies have had a minimal impact thus far. (We will have more on this later on.)

-Despite the fact that he's been clubbed like a baby seal for the first five games, Frazier is apparently going to stick with cornerback Josh Robinson.

-And to top off his day on Monday, Frazier all but threw the players under the proverbial bus.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no religion, no politics, no feeding of the trolls, and keep the bad language to a minimum/use the spoiler tags if you feel that you absolutely must curse.

More shiny, happy type music for our selection today.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Tuesday, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the rest of the day, and we'll have more for you later on.
