Good morning, Minnesota Vikings fans! It's Wednesday, and we all know what that means.

My apologies for not having more material readily available for your reading pleasure. My time over on this side of the Pacific is winding down, and I've been trying to get a lot of things out of the way, but I will effort to get more stuff out there for you going forward.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-Despite another loss, the Vikings haven't gained any ground in their 2014 NFL Draft positioning.

-Arif has his latest set of Power Rankings up, and there's a new team at the top of the list.

From some other outposts around the internet. . .

-According to Pro Football Focus, Josh Freeman was historically. . .and hysterically. . .bad in his Vikings' debut.

-Owner Zygi Wilf has said that he won't be making any changes to the team at this time. Really, as we've said. . .who's he going to change to?

-Don Banks of SI.com has more on the Vikings' situation at quarterback.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've always been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls. . .which I'm guessing will become more prevalent this week. . .and keep the bad language to a minimum/use the spoiler tags if you feel that you absolutely must curse.

More movie hilarity for our video for this Wednesday.

Greatest musical of all time. And don't let anyone tell you that it isn't a musical, because it totally is.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Wednesday, folks! Enjoy the rest of your day, and we will have more for you as the day moves on.
