The Minnesota Vikings are not the only team in the National Football League that has had issues at the quarterback position so far in 2013. Many other teams fall under that category, including the Cleveland Browns, the Buffalo Bills, and the St. Louis Rams.
But while the Vikings may have had the oddest quarterback situation of 2013 so far, it appears as though the St. Louis Rams are attempting to make a serious challenge for that title. How serious?
This came across the Twitter from ESPN's Adam Schefter about fifteen minutes ago.
St. Louis called Brett Favre, asking if the 44-year-old QB if he would be willing to play. Favre declined. More to story on ESPN all day.

A-yup. They went there.
Of course, the last time the gunslinger saw the football field, it was at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, where he led the Vikings to an opening drive touchdown against the Chicago Bears near the end of the 2010 season. . .and promptly got knocked out and needed to be assisted off of the field.
To Favre's credit, he refused the Rams' offer, but the fact that the Rams felt the need to go there says. . .well, it says something. I'm not 100% sure what, but it definitely says something.
