We're about ninety minutes away from kickoff at the Metrodome, folks, and that means that both the Green Bay Packers and the Minnesota Vikings have released the list of players that they have deemed inactive for this evening's contest. Let's take a quick look at both lists, starting with the visitors.

Green Bay Packers

TE Jermichael Finley
LB Brad Jones
WR James Jones
LB Clay Matthews
CB James Nixon
LB Nick Perry
TE Ryan Taylor

Nothing that we didn't anticipate from the injury reports going into this one. The Packers are missing a lot of big names. . .we'll have to see how much of a difference it makes.

And now, on to the home team.

Minnesota Vikings

RB Matt Asiata
G Jeff Baca
DT Chase Baker
TE Rhett Ellison
QB Josh Freeman
CB Shawn Prater
WR Rodney Smith

Prater was signed earlier this week, with Jacob Lacey being released. Other than that, no real surprises here, either, though it's kind of disappointing to see Ellison on the list again. Freeman being inactive means that Matt Cassel will, again, be the primary backup to Christian Ponder this evening.

And there are your inactive lists for both teams going into Sunday Night Football, folks. The Open Thread for the first quarter of play should be popping up just about any minute now, so keep an eye out for that.
