Which College Players Are Future Vikings Week 5 Review and Week 6 Primer

Week 5 of college football is in the books and week 6 is already started. LSU vs Georgia was a great game. Oklahoma vs Notre Dame and Wisconsin vs Ohio State were good matchups too. These are the kind of matchups that make college football. I think the major upset was West Virginia vs Oklahoma State.

Kirk Irwin

I will base my mock off the record each week. Since the team is 1-3 I think #8 spot is good for now.

After the last win and all the discussions surrounding the most obvious position it is fairly obvious what most feel the direction should be in next year's draft.  Back to the drawing board as they say.  But there may be other avenues to fill the position.  I think the team should sign Josh Freeman and let him be the QB.  I like him better than Ponder and Cassel but not by a whole heck of a lot.  But if it were me, I would sign him, put MBT on the PS (if possible), and then try to move Ponder.  I do not know if he would generate much interest but maybe a team would do it.

After QB, you have to think guard, corner, and then take the BPA.

Having said all that, I will proceed to do a mock using the #8 spot.
