Minnesota Vikings News And Links, 10/8

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Hey there, ladies and gentlemen. . .my apologies for getting this Open Thread up late again. With that being the case, let's get right to it.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-We had an episode of Ted Gone Wild yesterday, as he brought us an episode of Rickspeak with special guest Leslie Frazier.

-Ted also talked to our friends from Bucs Nation to ask them Five Good Questions about new Vikings quarterback Josh Freeman.

-And to top it off, Ted took a look at what appears to be the official end of the Christian Ponder era in Minnesota.

-We also took another look at what to expect from the Vikings' quarterback position going forward.

From other outposts across the internet. . .

-Peter King at MMQB has taken a look at the new quarterback depth chart in Minnesota.

-The Vikings continue to move closer to their new stadium.

-All the guys that missed the game in London against the Pittsburgh Steelers were active in practice on Tuesday.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've always been, folks. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, and keep the bad language to a minimum/use the spoiler tags if you feel that you absolutely must curse.

Our Monty Python week continues in our ambient music selections for the week.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Tuesday, ladies and gentlemen! Enjoy the rest of your day and we'll have more for you as the day progresses.
