Minnesota Vikings At Dallas Cowboys: Final Injury Reports

Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

The Minnesota Vikings and the Dallas Cowboys have put together their final injury reports for this Sunday's contest in Dallas. Let's take a look at them, starting with the visiting team.

Minnesota Vikings

Player Position Injury Sunday Status
Matt Asiata RB Shoulder Out
Chris Cook CB Hip Out
Rhett Ellison TE Ankle Out
Fred Evans DT Knee Out
Jamarca Sanford S Groin Out
Chad Greenway LB Wrist Probable
A.J. Jefferson CB Ankle Probable
Greg Jennings WR Knee Probable
Phil Loadholt OT Illness Probable
Adrian Peterson RB Non-Injury Probable
Rodney Smith WR Hip Probable
Blair Walsh K Hamstring Probable
Kevin Williams DT Knee Probable

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. . .I'm pretty much done with Chris Cook at this point. I really am. Yeah, he's had one or two good games in his career against Calvin Johnson. . .he's spent the rest not doing much other than constantly getting hurt. Not having Fred Evans is going to sting a bit, too. Other than that, no real surprises.

And now, on to the home team.

Dallas Cowboys

Player Position Injury Sunday Status
Morris Claiborne CB Hamstring Out
DeVonte Holloman LB Neck Out
Brian Waters G Elbow Out
J.J. Wilcox S Knee Out
Miles Austin WR Hamstring Doubtful
DeMarcus Ware LB Thigh Doubtful
Danny McCray S Hip, Toe Questionable
Marvin Austin DT Back Probable
Barry Church S Hamstring Probable
Lance Dunbar RB Hamstring Probable
Dwayne Harris WR Hip Probable
Jason Hatcher DT Neck Probable
DeMarco Murray RB Knee Probable
George Selvie DE Shoulder Probable

Some pretty significant names sitting out of this one for the Cowboys, particularly Claiborne and (most likely) Ware. We'll have to see if the Vikings have the ability to take advantage.

And those are your injury reports for this Sunday's contest in Dallas, ladies and gentlemen. Pretty extensive lists of walking wounded for both teams going into this one.
