Well, it's the Monday after yet another loss for the Minnesota Vikings, folks. The 2012 season feels like it could have been 30 years ago with the way this team has fallen off the proverbial cliff, and it doesn't look like it's going to get better any time soon. Six more weeks of this season to. . .ahem. . .enjoy before we get to watch a bunch of other teams in the post-season.
Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread, about all we did was cover yesterday's debacle at CenturyLink Field. If you want to look back on all the coverage, you can have a look right here.
From some other outposts around the internet. . .
-Vikings quarterback. . .for now. . .Christian Ponder had another game to forget on Sunday, despite playing a solid first half.
-From the Department of "Duh," the Vikings pretty much need to blow everything up and start over.
-Fire up Yakkety Sax, because the Vikings' quarterback carousel is likely going to start spinning again.
-Despite a season-low in time of possession on Sunday, the Vikings' defense still allowed 34 points.
The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, and keep the bad language to a minimum/use the spoiler tags if you feel that you absolutely must curse.
For your ambient music for today. . .hell, go ahead and make your own selection by clicking the little thing that says "Playlist" in the upper left.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Monday, everybody. Enjoy your day, and we'll have more for you as we push forward.
