Week 12 of National Football League action gets underway this evening, folks, though we have to wait until Sunday for our next Minnesota Vikings action. We'll have plenty of good stuff for you in the meantime, however.
Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .
-CCNorseman. . .singular now, not plural. . .has a look at the Vikings' "Tampa-2" scheme and what can be done to make it work properly.
-Which college football players should you be keeping an eye on this weekend? Mark can tell you!
-Guess who's starting at quarterback for the Vikings this weekend?
-We've got our Precision Play of the Week, brought to you by the folks from Gillette.
-And we have our final installment of Teammates of the Week, brought to you by Call of Duty: Ghosts.
From some other places around the internet. . .
-After the decision about the starting quarterback was made, Adrian Peterson went and threw his support behind Christian Ponder.
-Wide receiver Greg Jennings sat out practice again on Wednesday, as did Peterson.
-Another wide receiver, Greg Childs, hit the practice field for the first time in 16 months.
The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've always been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, and keep the bad language to a minimum/use the spoiler tags if you feel that you absolutely must curse.
Let's continue on with playlists this week for our music.
There's over 130 songs on this one. . .I'm sure everyone can find something they enjoy.
With that, the beer light is on the bar is open for Thursday, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the rest of your day, and keep your eyes open for more from us.
