We're 15 minutes into the action at chilly Lambeau Field. It's only 19 degrees in Green Bay right now and the atmosphere looks a lot like yesterday's college game between the Gophers and Badgers.
After a couple of punts back and forth to start the game, the Packers got the scoring underway with a 6-yard touchdown run by third-string quarterback Scott Tolzien. (The tackling by the Vikings defense on the drive made Tolzien look like 2004 Michael Vick.) The Vikings answered with a long kickoff return by Cordarrelle Patterson all the way to the Packers' 42 yard line, but their drive sputtered as the team had to settle for a Blair Walsh field goal.
Green Bay outgained Minnesota 95-27 in the first quarter and hold a 7-3 lead on the scoreboard.
That's where we stand as we move to the second quarter of play with Green Bay driving near midfield. Follow along live as the Vikings look to take the lead over their division rival.
