Minnesota Vikings News And Links, 11/27

Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

My apologies for the lack of action yesterday, folks. . .yours truly is dealing with a pretty nasty case of writer's block at the moment, and there's a ton of real world stuff going on over at this end. Hopefully with a long weekend coming up, some of that can be shaken off.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-CCNorseman found a couple of Vikings who were part of the Team of the Week over at Pro Football Focus.

-A lucky couple got some memories from this weekend's game that had nothing to do with the final score.

From some other outposts across the internet. . .

-Ben Goessling of ESPN takes a look at the Vikings' quarterback position and how a change could affect the team.

-The primary charity of the Minnesota Vikings, the Vikings Children's Fund, has surpassed $10 million in grants.

-How does running back Adrian Peterson deal with the food allergies that nearly took him down a couple of seasons ago?

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, and keep the bad language to a minimum/use the spoiler tags if you feel that you absolutely must curse.

More for "tie week" here, ladies and gentlemen.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Wednesday before Thanksgiving. If you're not doing much at work. . .and I'm guessing that's a pretty solid possibility. . .hang out here for a while and enjoy a little bit of peace and quiet before the long holiday weekend.
