Washington Redskins At Minnesota Vikings: Final Injury Reports

Jamie Squire

We finally have the injury reports for both of the teams involved in tonight's contest, and we're going to take a look at them right here. As we always do, we'll start with the visiting team.

Washington Redskins

Player Position Injury Thursday Status
Chris Thompson RB Shoulder Questionable
Stephen Bowen DE Shoulder Probable
London Fletcher LB Knee Probable
Jose Gumbs S Ankle Probable
Leonard Hankerson WR Hamstring Probable
Logan Paulsen TE Knee Probable

All told, it looks like the Redskins are a pretty healthy bunch right now. Doesn't appear that they have a whole lot of issues to deal with on that front.

On the other hand, the same thing certainly can't be said about the home team.

Minnesota Vikings

Player Position Injury Thursday Status
Matt Asiata RB Shoulder Out
Chris Cook CB Hip Out
Fred Evans DT Knee Out
Phil Loadholt OT Concussion Out
Kyle Rudolph TE Foot Out
Jamarca Sanford S Groin Out
Letroy Guion DT Knee Doubtful
Charlie Johnson G Elbow Doubtful
Rhett Ellison TE Knee Questionable
Chad Greenway LB Wrist Probable
Xavier Rhodes CB Shoulder Probable
Josh Robinson CB Chest Probable

Yeah. . .that's a whole lot of names, and a whole lot of important names. The Vikings have already ruled six players as "Out," which means that at least one of the two guys listed as "Doubtful" isn't going to make it onto the inactive list. It would appear that J'Marcus Webb will start for Phil Loadholt at tackle, Joe Berger for Charlie Johnson at guard (and rookie Jeff Baca will be active for the first time this season), Chase Ford getting a lot of time in the absence of Rudolph and the tenuous status of Ellison. . .and, really, who knows what else at this point.

Those are your injury reports for Thursday Night Football, ladies and gentlemen.
