Minnesota Vikings At Cincinnati Bengals: Final Injury Reports

Hannah Foslien

Alrighty, folks, it appears that the site is back up and running at full capacity. And speaking of full capacity. . .we call that a "segue," everyone. . .let's see who will not be at full capacity this weekend when the Minnesota Vikings travel to Ohio to take on the Cincinnati Bengals. We'll start, as we always do, with the visiting team.

Minnesota Vikings

Name Position Injury Sunday Status
Xavier Rhodes CB Ankle Out
John Carlson TE Concussion Doubtful
Matt Asiata RB Ankle Questionable
Adrian Peterson RB Groin/Foot Questionable
Chris Cook CB Knee Probable
Larry Dean LB Knee Probable
Brandon Fusco G Knee Probable
Toby Gerhart RB Hamstring Probable
Chad Greenway LB Wrist Probable
Cullen Loeffler LS Hand Probable
Marcus Sherels CB Shoulder Probable
Harrison Smith S Toe Probable

Peterson has been quoted as saying that he's "looking forward" to playing this week, so I'll take that to mean he's going to be out there for this one. I'd still expect a heavy dose of Gerhart, who will also be returning this week. And hey, Chris Cook is back. The over/under on him getting injured again is the midway point of the second quarter.

And now for the home team

Cincinnati Bengals

Name Position Injury Sunday Status
Terence Newman CB Knee Doubtful
Carlos Dunlap DE Concussion Questionable
James Harrison LB Concussion Questionable
Devon Still DT Back Questionable
Andrew Whitworth G Concussion Questionable
Kevin Zeitler G Foot Questionable
Jermaine Gresham TE Abdomen Probable

Looks like there's a serious case of concussions going around in Cincinnati. No word as to whether or not any of the concussions were caused by falling turkeys. Dunlap, Harrison, and Whitworth are all listed as having fully participated in Friday's practice, so it would appear they're all on track to play on Sunday.

And there's your look at the injury report for this weekend's contest, ladies and gentlemen.
