Minnesota Vikings News and Links, 12/24

Andy Lyons

It's Christmas Eve, everybody! I'm sure that a lot of you are busy making last-minute preparations and things of that nature in preparation for tomorrow, but we've got your Open Thread here today in case you can drop by and talk about whatever you'd like to talk about.

As my wifi connection in this hotel is really, truly the most awful thing I've ever dealt with, I was only able to bring you one story yesterday about a couple of Minnesota Vikings players going to bat for embattled head coach Leslie Frazier. There are some stories from other sources around the internet, though.

-The Vikings are planning a big fan event for Sunday's Metrodome finale, as well as producing a commemorative pennant.

-The team is playing the "wait and see" game with running back Adrian Peterson for Sunday's finale.

-The Vikings aren't the only people that are having their last event at the Metrodome this weekend.

-OMG AUDIE COLE will be OMG NOT PLAYING against Detroit on Sunday.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as always, folks. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, and keep the bad language to a minimum/use the spoiler tags if you feel you absolutely must curse.

Your video selection for this Christmas Eve.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Christmas Eve, everybody. I'll see if I can't fight my connection here to get some more stuff up throughout the course of the day, and we all hope that you enjoy your holiday.
