Minnesota Vikings News And Links, 12/4

Bruce Kluckhohn-USA TODAY Sports

Somebody buy that damn camel a calendar already!

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-Kyle posed the question of whether we should have a strong distaste for Vikings West. . .er, the Seattle Seahawks.

-The pool of quarterbacks in the 2014 NFL Draft got a bit more shallow, as Oregon's Marcus Mariota declared that he was going back to school for the Ducks next year.

-Surprise! The Minnesota Vikings have no idea what they're doing at the quarterback position. Oh, and they don't know who's starting on Sunday, either.

From some other outposts around the internet. . .

-Vikings.com has a stadium construction cam that will be streaming full-time until the stadium is complete.

-1500 ESPN has some observations about Sunday's victory over the Bears on the offensive side.

-The big ESPN talks about how John Carlson has bounced back, due in large part to the injury to Kyle Rudolph giving him more opportunities.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've always been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, and keep the bad language to a minimum/use the spoiler tags if you feel that you absolutely must curse.

We continue on for this week with another serving of Meat Loaf.

How great is this guy? He can cover Celine freaking Dion and make it sound outstanding.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Wednesday, ladies and gentlemen. Keep your eyes out for more from us as the day rolls on.
