Minnesota Vikings News And Links, 12/9

Larry French

It's Monday again, ladies and gentlemen, and we're once again coming off of another last-minute loss for the Minnesota Vikings. This one officially knocked them out of post-season contention, so there are definitely only three games remaining for the team in 2013. The first of the final two games at the Metrodome will take place this Sunday, as the Vikings will host the Philadelphia Eagles. We'll have plenty of coverage of that one going forward.

If you want to take a look at all of our coverage from this past week's contest against the Baltimore Ravens, we have the whole thing right here in one stream. Included in that is my recap of yesterday's action, as well as Ted's Stock Market Report.

You can also take a look at the recaps of yesterday's game from the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, the St. Paul Pioneer Press, 1500 ESPN, and the big ESPN. That should be sufficient to whet the appetite after what we saw yesterday in Baltimore.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, and keep the bad language to a minimum/use the spoiler tags if you feel you absolutely must curse.

For our videos this week, let's try something fun. Legos are fun. . .well, unless you step on the stupid things. Then they're not fun. Otherwise? Fun.

If these guys wanted to do the entire movie in this format, I would not object. Greatest musical of all time, by the way.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Monday, ladies and gentlemen. Have a good rest of your day, and we'll have more about the purple as the day progresses.
