Adrian Peterson Eyes MVP, 2,500 Yards: 'You Gotta Expect The Impossible'

Before the MVP awards are announced, Adrian Peterson tells Amy K. Nelson why he thinks he'll rush for 2500 yards next year and why he will be disappointed if he isn't named MVP.

In what can only be described as "freaking awesome," Amy K. Nelson from SB Nation got an opportunity to sit down and interview the man who, on Saturday, should be named the National Football League's Most Valuable Player.

Yes, folks, I'm talking about Minnesota Vikings' running back Adrian Peterson. (Seriously, who else would I be talking about?)

Peterson gets a chance to talk about a couple of different subjects in this interview, including why he'll be disappointed if he isn't named the league MVP. Also, he thinks he can rush for 2,500 yards next year. In a related story, I think he can rush for 2,500 yards next season, too. . .and, unless you haven't been paying attention to the man's work ethic, you should probably think that as well. He also makes his Super Bowl pick, and talks about an initiative he's a part of to get kids more active.

So, sit back and enjoy the interview with the National Football League's best player. Just another thing that shows just how far SB Nation has come in the world of sports over the past few years.
