It's that most special of days. . .or that most fabricated by the folks from Hallmark, depending on your perspective. Yes, it's Valentine's Day, and that means different things to different people. Whatever it means to you, you can discuss that or anything else you'd like in today's Open Thread.

We had a couple of different things on the site yesterday.

-We thought that Leslie Frazier got a contract extension from the Vikings, but it turned out that the team just exercised an extra-year option on his deal.

-We also found out that Adrian Peterson would sort of like Percy Harvin to remain a member of the Minnesota Vikings.

We've got a couple of different things for your viewing/listening pleasure today. The first continues the theme of quirky love songs. This one comes from Atmosphere, so now people can stop calling me old, right after they get off of my lawn.

For those that aren't into the "love" aspect of the holiday today, we also have a bit of history for you. As an aficionado of all things Mafia-related, today marks the 84th anniversary of a significant event in American history. (This is a full-length film, so if you want to watch it, it takes about an hour and a half.)

Same rules apply as they have to every open thread. No politics, no religion, minimal bad language. . .pretty much everything else is fair game.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Thursday/Valentine's Day, ladies and gentlemen. Stay tuned throughout the day for any news that might break about our favorite football team.
