Your Monday Open Thread

It's Monday, and with it being a holiday, I'm sure there are at least some of you that have the day off today. What better way to spend your day not working than hanging out and talking about whatever you want with your fellow Minnesota Vikings fans?

In case you missed anything over the weekend. . .

-The NFL Combine will feature a new intelligence test this year

-We took a look at Brandon Gibson, a receiver that the Vikings could potentially look at in free agency

-The latest installment of our Mock Draft Database is up

-Draft guru Mike Mayock released his initial list of player rankings for the 2013 NFL Draft

-One of the draft's top linebacker prospects got popped for DUI

-We heard about a couple of former Vikings, as Asher Allen is writing a blog and Husain Abdullah has gotten back into the NFL

-We wondered if the Vikings would go after any of the big names at wide receiver when free agency gets underway

-The confusion over whether the Vikings have eight or nine draft picks was finally cleared up

-Ted translated Rick Spielman's Friday press conference from "Rickspeak" to English

-And we learned who's going to be building the Vikings new stadium, as Mortenson Construction will be getting the call

Any and all topics are fair game here in the Open Thread, folks, with the exceptions of politics and religion. We ask that you also keep the salty language to a minimum, as always.

As far as music is concerned, with today being President's Day, I think I'm going to try to extend this into President's Week, and go with bands that have "Presidential" names. And who better to kick off a week devoted to the Presidents of the United States of America than. . .The Presidents of the United States of America.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for Monday, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy your day (or your day off) and if anything comes across the wire, we'll have it here for you.
