Last day of the work week, everybody. . .we've made it through another one together, and yesterday's Open Thread generated a lot of discussion among everyone, which was really pretty cool. Nice to see the community continuing to gather together even during the off-season.

Not a lot to catch up on from yesterday, if you missed anything. . .

-Running back Adrian Peterson had surgery to repair a sports hernia that he suffered during the season. . .you know the season he was the MVP because he almost set the NFL rushing record.

-Vegas has the Vikings at 40-to-1 odds to win Super Bowl XLVIII next February, which is a lot better than their odds of winning Super Bowl XLVII at this time last year were.

With that, we close out our Minnesota music week with the guy that I, personally, think of first whenever I think about musicians from the great state of Minnesota. So many great songs, I can't pick just one. . .so, I'm going to give you two.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for Friday, everybody. You know the rules already. . .keep them in mind, and enjoy the rest of your day heading into the weekend!
