USA TODAY Sports

We're back once again with a new Open Thread for you on a Wednesday, ladies and gentlemen. You can feel free to discuss whatever topics you want with your fellow Minnesota Vikings fans. . .with the normal exceptions of religion and politics. Oh, and no really bad language, either.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-Arif put together his big board of middle linebackers for the Vikings to consider in this year's NFL Draft

-We saw that two members of the Minnesota Vikings were named to the NFL.com All-Underrated Team

-The Vikings have taken a trip to Ireland to promote this year's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers

At other outposts around the internet. . .

-We knew that Jared Allen had a shoulder issue this season. . .but it turns out that he had knee surgery this off-season as well

-The Metrodome is hosting its final college baseball games this week

-The Vikings are still looking for wide receivers

-Minnesota's governor is saying that panic over pull-tab revenue for the new Vikings' stadium is premature

Once again, we continue our "Baby Week" with our choice of music.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for the Wednesday, ladies and gentlemen. We'll have more good stuff for you over the course of the day today.
