AIN'T NO PARTY LIKE A LONG SNAPPER PARTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!
Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

Welcome back to your favorite Minnesota Vikings' website, ladies and gentlemen. It's Thursday, and this is your Open Thread for the day. Same rules as always. . .no religion, no politics, and keep the naughty words to a minimum.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-Ted and Brett Stott from Drafttek went head-to-head with their mock drafts for our favorite football team. TWO MEN ENTER, AND. . .well, then they both left. We're really not a violent people here, to be honest.

-Adrian Peterson is still alive in the tournament to see who will be on the cover of the next installment of Madden NFL

-Speaking of tournaments, NFL.com is still looking for the greatest play in NFL history, and there's still one play left that involves our favorite football team

At other places around the interwebs. . .

-The folks from Big Blue View, SB Nation's New York Giants site, have reached the first of Minnesota's two picks in their Community Mock Draft (incidentally, be on the lookout for our Community Mock Draft here soon)

-John Sullivan, Kyle Rudolph, and Harrison Smith continue their tour of the United Kingdom by traveling to Yorkshire, where I hear they have outstanding pudding

-Linebacker Chad Greenway continues to do great things for children. . .yes, even in enemy territory

-How does kicker Blair Walsh add excitement to his off-season? Why, by being at the opening of a brand-new Menards in New Ulm, that's how!

For today's contribution to "Baby Week". . .is it real, or is it Memorex?

(It's probably Memorex.)

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for Thursday, ladies and gentlemen. We'll have some more stuff for you later on today. Until then, the thread is yours!
