This actually happened a few days ago, but since it's been a bit hectic for me as far as real life stuff is concerned, I haven't been able to acknowledge it until now.

Yes, thanks to what has turned into the biggest month. . .by far. . .in the history of our humble little corner of the internet, we have ticked past yet another traffic milestone, having generated our eleven millionth visit earlier this week. The guy you see pictured there, one Mr. Greg Jennings, is a big part of that happening. The day he signed with the Minnesota Vikings, March 15, was one of the biggest days in the history of the site as far as traffic is concerned, as it marked the first day that the site went over 100,000 page views. . .124,615, to be exact.

Prior to this month, the biggest month traffic-wise in site history was last April, thanks to the NFL Draft. That month saw 435,325 hits for our site here. With two full days left to go in this month, we're already at. . .refresh. . .572,837, so we've basically crushed it. This is also the first month that the site has gone over 1 million page views in a single month, which is pretty awesome as well.

As always, I need to point out that I've managed to put together a pretty amazing staff of folks, without which none of this would be possible. Big thanks to Grandpa Ted, Eric, Kyle, Arif, Mark, and Skol Girl for everything they do here every day/ (By the way, Skol Girl, in her current state of absentia, has been running our Daily Norseman Facebook page, and doing an outstanding job. Seriously, if you haven't "liked" us on Facebook yet. . .why not?)

Most importantly, however, thanks to all of you for continuing to make this a regular part of your news search and discussions about Minnesota Vikings football. Without you guys, there's no Daily Norseman, and really. . .that would suck, right? We really do have a great community here, and thanks to each and every one of you for being a part of it. We're going to be here bringing you the sort of coverage of our favorite football team that you've come to expect for a long time to come.

Thanks again, everybody!
