Vikings Announce Off-Season Camp Dates

Bruce Kluckhohn-US PRESSWIRE

Not sure how I managed to miss this one the other day, but the Minnesota Vikings' official website has posted the dates for all of the camps for the players this off-season. As the site notes, all of the dates are tentative and may change between now and the actual dates given.

As it stands now, the Vikings' rookie mini-camp will take place at Winter Park from May 3 to May 5, just a week or so after the 2013 NFL Draft concludes.

The Off-Season Activities (OTAs) are broken up in three different sessions. Session 1 will run from May 28 to May 30, Session 2 from June 4 to June 6, and Session 3 will run from June 10 to June 13. The team's mandatory mini-camp will take place from June 18 to June 20.

I have not yet seen an official date for the start of Training Camp, but if things go the way they generally do, I would expect the Vikings' players to report on the weekend of July 26, with practices getting underway on July 29, the last Monday in July.

Yes, it's not earth-shattering news or anything, but it's what we have at now. Man, can free agency just get underway already?
