Since the early days of SB Nation, one request from the readers has trumped pretty much everything else in terms of sheer volume of requests. And I'm happy to report that, soon, those wishes will be fulfilled.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen. . .

EDITABLE COMMENTS ARE COMING SOON TO THE DAILY NORSEMAN AND EVERY OTHER SB NATION SITE!

(Felt the need to put that in big, bold caps and italics just so that nobody missed it. Plus it's pretty exciting, I think.)

You can read the whole story about it at the SB Nation Blog Huddle, but what it boils down to is this. . .

You won't be able to edit comments ad infinitum or anything like that. Once you post a comment, you will have a 90-second window that you can edit your post in (complete with neato super cool countdown timer). Once that 90-second window closes, you're stuck with what your post reads at that time.

The new commenting features will be rolling out later this week, according to our tech folks, so be on the lookout for it.

So rejoice, Daily Norseman community. . .we've gotten a lot of stuff saying that people want the ability to edit comments over the years, and in a day or two you'll finally have that capability!
