Joey Browner To Announce Vikings Second Round Pick

Over the past few years, the National Football League has started the practice of having former players announce the team selections in the second round (or third round, if the team lacks a second-round pick) of the National Football League Draft. This year is no different, and with the list of said players being released today, fans of the Minnesota Vikings will likely be quite happy with this year's choice.

Former Vikings' safety Joey Browner will be announcing this year's second round pick.

Browner was selected by the Vikings with the 19th overall pick in the 1983 NFL Draft out of the University of Southern California. He is one of only three defensive backs drafted in the first round by the Vikings (along with Dewayne Washington in 1994 and Harrison Smith last season). A three-time All-Pro and six-time Pro Bowler, Browner had 37 interceptions in his NFL career, and was a member of the NFL's 1980s All-Decade team.

Browner played for the Vikings for nine seasons (1983 to 1991) before moving on for one final season as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Whose name do you think Joey Browner will be calling as the Vikings' second-round pick this year?
