Another day here at your favorite Minnesota Vikings' website, ladies and gentlemen. This is your Open Thread for Tuesday, and we've got lots of good stuff for you once again.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-We made the first of our two first-round picks in the SB Nation Writers Mock Draft. Then we explained why we made the pick that we did.

-Ted took a look at the Minnesota Vikings' stadium bill. . .more specifically the financing situation.

-We wondered aloud about the Vikings' new uniforms.

From a few other outposts around the internet. . .

-The Metrodome's life is winding down. . .and that includes hosting high school baseball games at three o'clock in the morning. (As Robin Williams said in Good Morning, Vietnam, "That's 0300. What's the 0 stand for? Oh, my God, that's early.")

-Adrian Peterson was part of the annual Easter Egg Roll at the White House this past Sunday

I'd also be remiss if I didn't mention the rest of the Minnesota sports sites around SB Nation.

-Opening Day in Major League Baseball was yesterday, including the Minnesota Twins, which means things are in full swing over at Twinkie Town.

-The Minnesota Wild are going on a nice run in the National Hockey League, and Hockey Wilderness has got you covered.

-The Minnesota Timberwolves. . .well, things haven't gone as well as we had hoped for the Wolves. That hasn't stopped Canis Hoopus from doing an outstanding job covering them.

-There's also lots of stuff going on over at The Daily Gopher, where they're tracking the search for a new men's basketball coach, among other things.

The second of our two first-round picks in the SB Nation Writers Mock Draft will be put up at about 8 AM Central time, or about an hour and 45 minutes from now. Like we did yesterday, we'll have our explanation piece up within a few minutes of that pick going up, so keep an eye out for that.
