The draft approaches, ladies and gentlemen, and we're covering as much of it as we possibly can for you here on your favorite Minnesota Vikings website.
Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .
-Arif has managed to get through two more tiers of his wide-receiver previews, as he put up Tier Five and Tier Four yesterday.
-We let you know who would be covering the Vikings for ESPN and the NFL Network on draft weekend.
-The Vikings started their off-season program yesterday. They can't do a whole lot, so there hasn't been anything to report on, unfortunately.
From other outposts across the internet. . .
-Ben Goessling of the St. Paul Pioneer Press lets us know how the Vikings use "analytics" to help them with their draft decisions. (Seriously, they could just hire Arif.)
-The team has purchased some real estate right next to their offices at Winter Park.
-The Minneapolis Star-Tribune attempts to solve the Riddle of the Middle Linebacker Search, which may or may not have been the title of an old Scooby-Doo episode.
We continue our journey to the draft with our ambient music for today. . .
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for Tuesday, ladies and gentlemen. Remember the rules. . .no politics, no religion, and keep the bad language to a minimum.
