So, anything important going on today?

Oh, right. . .IT'S DRAFT DAY, EVERYBODY!!

We're going to have all sorts of good stuff for you folks over the course of the day, with the main event starting at 7 PM Central time on ESPN or the NFL Network, whichever you prefer. In the meantime, feel free to hang out and chat with your fellow Minnesota Vikings fans here in the Open Thread, where there will be no discussion of religion or politics, and the bad language will be kept to a minimum.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-Kyle warned you all about Jason LaCanfora of CBS and his renegade Twitter account.

-Eric brought us a story about former Vikings' quarterback Brad Johnson and how he's still feeling the effects of his career in the NFL.

-Ted once again broke out the English-to-Rickspeak dictionary.

-Arif put together his overall Vikings-centric Big Board.

-We let you know that Adrian Peterson will not, in fact, be on the cover of Madden NFL 25.

-Mark put together his last Mock Draft for this season, and I cobbled together a Vikings-only mock for your reading pleasure.

From other outposts across the internet. . .

-Nancy Ngo of the St. Paul Pioneer Press is still excited about the Vikings' new uniforms, despite the reveal being blown up by the Jacksonville Jaguars a couple days ago.

-Senator Sean Nienow, who we all remember from the stadium saga, is introducing a bill to require the Vikings to cover the revenue shortfall for the new stadium. I'm not sure that's how that works.

-Tom Pelissero's positional previews for the Vikings now include MOAR TIGHT END.

-Judd Zulgad lets us know that Rick Spielman will stay the course with his vision of shaping the team despite last year's unexpected success.

Our Journey to the draft continues with today's ambient music. . .

We'll have a separate Open Thread as we get closer to draft time, folks. Until then, hang out here and talk about pretty much anything.
