Well, now that the Vikings' two first-round selections are in the books, we can use this thread to discuss the rest of the first round, and as a bit of a post-first round thread as well.
Overall, I'm happy has heck with the Vikings' two first round picks, and the round worked out really well for them. A lot of the players at positions of need dropped way down the board, particularly Floyd, who was a projected top 5 selection not that long ago. The Vikings got themselves two very talented players to help reload on defense, and they should both be out there as starters for the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1.
Welcome to Minnesota, Sharrif Floyd and Xavier Rhodes!
There are now rumors abound that the Vikings are attempting to get back into the first round of the draft, potentially to draft linebacker Manti Te'o. Stay tuned, folks. . .the ride is starting to get bumpy.
What do you all think about the Vikings' picks so far? What other things did you like or not like about the first round of this year's draft?
