Madden 25 Cover Vote: Peterson Moves On Again

USA TODAY Sports

The voting to see which NFL player. . .past or present. . .will find themselves on the cover of Madden NFL 25 continues rolling along, and the Adrian Peterson train appears to be gaining momentum as the tournament moves along.

Peterson throttled New England Patriots' tight end Rob Gronkowski in the latest round, garnering 81% of the vote in their match-up. That was the highest percentage of votes received on the "New School" side, and second overall in the Round of 16 match-ups (Jerry Rice got 85% of the vote in his match-up with Michael Strahan).

So, things are now down to the final four on each side of the bracket. Both of the match-ups on the "Old School" side present the same theme. . .you can either vote for a player associated with the San Francisco 49ers, or you can vote for a guy named Sanders. On one side, Joe Montana will take on Barry Sanders, and on the other side Rice will do battle with Deion Sanders. The winners of those two match-ups will meet in the "Old School" finals. Still think we're looking at Montana vs. Rice for that one.

The "New School" side of the bracket will feature Peterson taking on Washington Redskins' quarterback Robert Griffin III. The winner of that match-up will take on either Seattle Seahawks' quarterback Russell Wilson or Houston Texans' running back Arian Foster in the finals of the "New School" side of the bracket.

You can head on over to the brackets and cast your votes by hitting this link here. Voting will run through 10 April.
