Anyone else have the feeling that if they ever do "The Rick Spielman Story" that our GM will be played by Macaulay Culkin?

We're making our way through the week here, Vikings fans. It's only Tuesday. . .feels like it's been a lot longer than that already. . .but we'll make it through this together. I think.

Before we get to anything else in the Open Thread here, I want to pass along a link from one of our SB Nation sister sites, Welcome to Loud City (where they cover the Oklahoma City Thunder). They have a story about what you can do to send aid to the people affected by yesterday's storms in the Moore, Oklahoma area. It's pinned to the top of our front page for a while here as well.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-Two pairs of Vikings find themselves on the short list of best defensive tackle duos in NFL history.

-Erin Henderson went through the paces of being a broadcaster last week in Ohio.

-The National Football League is proposing some significant changes to their off-season schedule.

From some other outposts across the internet. . .

-As long as they're making the NFL uniforms now, Nike apparently decided to make some shoes based on the NFL teams, too.

-Gee, guess who the Vikings' first opponent in their new stadium is rumored to be. Woo-hoo. Feel the enthusiasm.

-Our friends at Mile High Report don't think too highly of the Vikings' chances this year. (They might still be a little miffed over that whole "Adrian Peterson over Peyton Manning for MVP" thing. It's cool.)

-Former Viking Rickey Young is going into the Mobile Sports Hall of Fame. (Meaning it's in Mobile, Alabama, not that it's a Hall of Fame that moves around. . .although that would be kind of cool.)

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as always, ladies and gentlemen. No politics, no religion, and minimal amounts of bad language.

To keep our theme for the week going, here's one from a legitimate Olympic gold medalist.

I liked Angle's theme to start with, given his background. . .the fact that the WWF/E got the fans to fill in the "down" parts with the "You Suck" chant was pretty amazing, though. (Oh, it's true. . .it's true.)

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for Tuesday, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the rest of your day, and we'll be looking all over for stuff as the day goes on.
